Steps To Download And Install ShareIt On Windows PC:
Downloading ShareIt On Windows PC:
Step 1: To get started, first you need to download the ShareIt app for Windows PC. Visit Softonic and click on Download Latest Version button in the top right corner.
Step 2: The download will begin, and once it is downloaded, locate the file and double-click on it to run the file.
Step 3: Click Run in the pop-up that appears.
Step 4: Now the ShareIt Setup wizard will open up. Click on “Accept” on the first page of the wizard.
Step 5: Select the destination location in the next wizard using the Browse button and click Next.
Step 6: In the next page of the wizard, you can select additional tasks. Choose the checkbox Create A Desktop Shortcut if you wish to create a shortcut for the app and click on Next.
Step 7: The installation will begin now as shown below. The process may take a while and once the installation is done click on Finish.
Step 8: ShareIt is successfully installed on your Windows PC now. To configure ShareIt, follow the steps given below.
Configuring ShareIt On Windows PC:
Step 1: After successful installation, the app will launch automatically and on the first page, you need to accept their Terms and Conditions. Click on Accept.
Step 2: The app window will open up now, and it will start searching for the nearby devices as shown below.
Step 3: Click on the arrow in the bottom right corner. Your personal network password will pop-up. Note down the password.
Step 4: Now open the ShareIt App on your smartphone and select either send or receive as per your wish.
Step 5: Click on connect to PC button in the bottom right corner. A pop-up will appear, click on Go to begin the connection.
Step 6: The app will start searching for the nearby PC connections. Once your PC is available, tap on it to connect.
Step 7: It will ask you to Enter Password. Enter the password which you noted in step 3 and click OK.
Step 8: The connection will begin now. And in a fraction of seconds, you will be presented with a screen where you can send and receive files.
That’s it. You have successfully configured ShareIt on your windows PC now.
